When In Doubt Spin It Out!

This is personal. Rocky, my beautiful two year old Red Lab best friend, ran once to many times after a truck and accidently rolled under it to sudden death. Having never had any pain before and like many people I know he ignored the call to stop another time and was run over to his early life end. I went around the corner at the sound and heard five final yelps and watched his tail shake and quietly fall to the ground. The kind driver and I hauled him from the dusty road home in the back of a truck where we were to later bury him behind our country home. I walked gushing in the house where my wife, daughter, son in law and grandchildren joining me in all gushing at the same time at the sudden awareness of Rocky’s death. We then went out back, gathered the tools, identified the burial plot and all together dug a three foot deep hole where we then wrapped him in a blanket with the help of a kind neighbor friend and buried him with dirt and topped he grave with large field rocks and had a family prayer. For a few hours I did not really want relief but then finally at about 3pm I remembered When In Doubt Spin It Out and used the steps given above to release my grief. I was completely surprised and amazed that in less than a few minutes I felt the sadness leave my mind and body to be replaced with joy and peace and relief and only great memories of a great friend to be remembered over a lifetime ahead. When In Doubt Spin It Out!

Many people say to not mess with early relief from grief and loss and give it some kind of long healing time. I am happy to report that I personally found my way to 90 % of a happy ten in just a few hours after one of the biggest losses of my life…not nearly the gushing loss of my dear daughter RaChelle, but certainly way up on the scale of emotional loss and grief.

By Michael Blair 27 Sep, 2020
Trauma Conversion Therapy, TCT, is not conversion therapy. TCT is a highly effective approach to treat past and recent trauma. Like EMDR, this approach can be used to treat those with PTSD or dissociative disorders. Through a process similar to EMDR, trauma can convert into a memory that doesn't hold you hostage.

Blair Counseling and Coaching - Why exiles often lead to addiction

Did you know the root of your addiction is likely due to the core beliefs you developed as a child? These negative beliefs connect to deep emotional wounds that invoke raw emotions. In order to avoid these feelings, your inner parts work together both proactively and reactively. Thus, along the way, you developed an addiction as it seems to provide a sense of relief or escape from your exiles.
